The Process of Becoming the Unwavering You (Your Best Self)
Most of us carry some version of a dream life. A bigger home. A certain car. A job that actually excites us — or maybe just a slower, more intentional way of living. There’s usually a goal somewhere in there, and if there isn’t? That’s worth thinking about.
Here’s the thing though: life is a lot more flexible than we give it credit for. I know — girl, what? But hear me out. So many of the lives we admire are actually within reach. The difference is that they require consistency, hard work, and real action. If you want to be a chef but you’ve never even learned how to cook an egg..how would you ever get there? At some point, the dreaming has to turn into doing. Yes', it’s a cliché — but cliché s exist for a reason. They’re usually true.
I. Vision
So let’s start with the most important question: Who do you want to become?
Someone climbing the corporate ladder? A travel vlogger? The owner of a cozy little pet shop? One of our 5am Pilates girlies? Whatever it is — the first step is simply giving yourself permission to imagine it fully.
I’ll share mine as an example. My goal is to empower people with tools of transformation so they can grow into the best version of themselves. Through this space, I hope to eventually monetize my blog and step into full-time content creation — which means stepping out of the corporate world. And don’t get me wrong, I’m genuinely grateful for my job. But what I really want is freedom and creative ownership of my life.
So I’ll ask you again: Who do you want to become?
II. Identify the Gaps
Now that you have your vision, it’s time to get honest about the gap between who you are today and who you want to be.
Start asking specific questions. What time does this future version of you wake up? What does their morning look like? What do they eat? How do they spend their time? Get granular. Then compare that to your current habits and routines — and notice where the gaps are.
For me, I want slower, more intentional mornings. I imagine waking up early enough to go for a walk, work on this space, and make myself a cappuccino before my workday even starts. Right now? That doesn’t always happen. So the gap is clear: more discipline, more structure.
Once you see the gap, the next step is breaking big goals into smaller ones. For example — if I want a homemade cappuccino every morning, that means I actually need to learn how to make one. I know, that sounds like such a tiny detail. But this is exactly where people disconnect from their goals. The life you want is built from small, specific actions. You have to know what you’re working toward to actually get there.
III. Create Systems
This is where things come together — and where I get a little excited.
Over time, I’ve started organizing personal growth around five pillars. Okay, I’ll admit it gives slight cult vibes at first. But hear me out. These are simply areas of life that support you in evolving when you invest in them consistently.
The Five Pillars
Foundation — Discipline and structure that supports your daily life
Wellness — Physical vitality and caring for your body
Beauty — Confidence and self-presentation
Creativity — Curiosity, hobbies, and joy
Becoming — Your ongoing evolution as a person
You definitely don’t have to follow these exactly — but I hope they at least give you a framework, or a starting point to build your own.
IV. The Compounding Effect
Here’s something worth holding onto: small habits compound.
Take this example. Say your goal is to read 50 books in a year. That sounds a little intimidating at first, right? But break it down:
50 books per year
~ 4 books per month
~ 1 book per week
~ 43 pages per day (for a 300-page book)
Suddenly it feels completely doable. The goal didn’t change — the system did. And systems are what turn goals into reality.
V. The Unwavering Mindset
To me, being unwavering means choosing long-term growth over short-term comfort. (Don’t go looking for that definition in a dictionary — it lives here.)
It means staying resilient. It means continuing to pour into yourself even when progress feels invisible. And most importantly, it means recognizing that you actually deserve to build a life you enjoy living.
This is your life. So don’t just go through the motions — create the waves. Yes, some things will always be outside of our control. But we can control our actions, our effort, and the person we are becoming. That’s what this is all about: refining ourselves, evolving, and growing into the best version of who we’re meant to be.
Becoming the Unwavering You.
Unlock the Unwavering
If this resonated with you, grab your phone or a notebook and write down:
Who is your future self? What does their life look like?
What are three habits they have? Think routines, mindset, lifestyle.
What is one small step you could take this week?
Big transformations rarely happen overnight. They happen through small actions, repeated consistently, over time. And that’s exactly what this space is built around — helping you develop the habits, systems, and mindset to become the unwavering version of yourself.
